Organise documents with labels

Add your own labels and understand which labels AirBill manages.

Label a document

Open a document’s options and choose Labels. Select an existing label or create your own. A project name can be useful if you want to filter by that project later.

To change several documents, select their rows and choose Add label or Remove label. Check the selection before applying. On a long list, selection may cover only loaded results; read the text next to “select all”.

Manage your labels

Open label settings from Documents. You can rename your own labels or change their colour. Renaming keeps the label attached to its documents.

Removing a label from all documents is different from deleting the label itself. Read the number of affected documents for either action.

Why can’t I change a label?

Booking labels for receipts and invoices follow the bookkeeping entry. They cannot be manually renamed or removed.

AirBill’s default labels can be cleared from documents and their colours changed, but they cannot be renamed or deleted from the label list. Create your own label when you need a custom name.
