Forward receipts and invoices by email

Use your business’s unique AirBill address for documents from your mailbox.

Find your AirBill address

Go to Profile → AirBill Email. If you do not have an address yet, choose a name and tap Activate. The app tells you whether your choice is valid and available.

Copy the full address shown in AirBill. Do not use an address from an example: each business has its own destination.

Forward the attachments

Forward an email with the receipt or invoice attached to that address. This email route supports PDF, PNG and JPEG attachments.

Open Documents afterwards to check that the files arrived and were processed. Receiving a file does not by itself confirm correct bookkeeping or a bank match; check the status and any messages.

Set up automatic forwarding

You can configure a forwarding rule with your email provider for relevant invoices and receipts. Check the destination and which messages the rule includes with that provider.

With this address, AirBill receives what you forward. To connect a Gmail account directly, see Connect Gmail.
